The Desford scarecrow festival takes place over the Bank Holiday weekend and this years theme is "Books". The scarecrows have been hand made by local villagers to bring a smile to those passing through the Leicestershire village. They can be seen climbing through windows, taking lunch, singing songs, there is even a Prince Harry taking part in a Cinderella scene.
