Winterland ice extravaganza

Download

© Licensed to London News Pictures. 04/11/2022. Bristol, UK. Children react to Bjorn the animatronic polar bear at Winterland. Bristol’s cultural hotspot the Propyard is bringing everything ice to the city with its ‘Winterland’ extravaganza. Launching Saturday 5th November, Propyard transforms the former torpedo testing factory with a 300 square metre ice rink, ice bumper cars, and pop up visits from a ‘real life’ animatronic polar bear, Bjorn. Each brightly coloured ice bumper car is covered in flashing lights and can spin around and safely bump into each other. The world-famous animatronic polar-bear, Bjorn, will be making special appearances over the festive period. A cross between a petting zoo and a nature documentary, Bjorn’s show is an informal, magical and interactive experience. Photo credit: Simon Chapman/LNP
