Star Wars bike ride on Star Wars Day

Star Wars fans dressed as their favourite Star Wars characters, as well as superheroes, set off from the National Theatre for a celebratory cycle ride round the capital on what has become known as ‘Star Wars Day’. Star Wars fans noticed that the first part of the phrase from the movies “May the Force be with you” sounds like “May the Fourth”, so May 4 became the obvious choice to celebrate the franchise.
