Chinese lanterns for Mid Autumn Festival in Chinatown
Download© Licensed to London News Pictures. 09/09/2016. London, UK. Colourful, traditional paper lanterns are hung in Chinatown on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Held annually on the 15th day of the 8th month in the lunar calendar, it is the second most important holiday after Chinese New Year and celebrates harvest and the bright harvest moon. For many Chinese, the moon symbolises prosperity, peace and reunion. Photo credit : Stephen Chung/LNP
