Strawberry Moon rises over Wembley Stadium
Download© Licensed to London News Pictures. 05/06/2020. LONDON, UK. June's full moon, known as a Strawberry Moon, rises behind Wembley Stadium's arch in north west London. June's full moon, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac, was the signal for Native American Algonquin tribes to harvest wild strawberries. This month's full moon also coincides with a subtle penumbral eclipse, which occurs when the Earth casts a slight shadow over the Moon. Photo credit: Stephen Chung/LNP
