Police and forensic examiners on Wood Street in Openshaw , East Manchester this evening (Friday 31st October 2014) as Greater Manchester Police launch a murder investigation after a man was fatally shot . Armed police from GMP responded to a call at Manchester Food Traders on Wood Street , Openshaw this evening (Friday 31st October 2014) and discovered the man , believed to be 35 years old , injured by two gunshot wounds , one to his abdomen and another to his chest .
