Waning gibbous after Worm Moon
Download© Licensed to London News Pictures. 29/03/2021. LONDON, UK. A 99% waning gibbous moon rises over the The Shard in central London. This month’s full moon is known as the Worm Moon according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, recognising that earthworms appear as the soil warms in spring. In addition, it is a Paschal Full Moon, being the first full Moon to occur after the spring equinox as well as a super moon. Photo credit: Stephen Chung/LNP
