LIFEBOAT WEDDING BLESSING

North Shields, UK, Tynemouth RNLI lifeboat volunteer crewmember Jill McCormick has her marriage to Simon Lee blessed onboard the Tynemouth RNLI lifeboat 'Spirit of Northumberland'. The couple were married an hour earlier at the local registry office before being blessed at the lifeboat station by station Chaplain Timothy Duff. Jill has been a volunteer for 12 years and works as a fisheries officer at the Environment Agency. Simon is a Royal Navy technician and submariner and having graduated with an engineering degree is about to begin officer training at Dartmouth College.
