Artist Filthy Luker’s inflatable installations have been installed on the rooftop of We The Curious, Bristol as part of Vanguard and Toward 2030, What Are You Doing?’s series of art activations marking the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Filthy Luker has partnered with community ambassador The Natural History Consortium to mark SDG15 - Life on Land through an inflatable intervention on the roof of We The Curious. Filthy Luker’s floral installation amplifies the key strategic goals of Bristol’s ecological plan for the city - to reclaim 30% of the city back to nature.
Vanguard and Toward 2030, What Are You Doing?'s series of 17 art activations is taking place across Bristol throughout September and October, with each art activation aligned with a Bristol community action group whose work embodies one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Vanguard’s series of 17 art activations done in partnership with Toward 2030, What Are You Doing? builds upon their exploration of sustainability through art showcased in the blockbuster exhibition Vanguard: Bristol Street Art at M Shed, Bristol.
