  • © Licensed to London News Pictures. 07/12/2013. Aberystwyth, UK. Shoppers. Photographer Keith Morris has begun an ambitious project to document people in his home town of Aberystwyth. He takes photographs of people carrying out their daily activity and then assembles the 100,’s of pictures that he has gathered into sets. Keith Morris said : Its part of my lifelong project to document the people and events of my home town, Aberystwyth. Usually i go out and ‘chase ‘ photographs; with these i just set up my camera on a tripod and photographed every single person who passed in front of me that day. <br />
I then assemble the photographs into different sets - some organised by the colour of clothes, some by what people are doing or wearing..The permutations are endless. Its fascinating just standing and watching, and realising how much we don’t notice as we dash about our daily lives. These were taken just before Christmas, but I’m going to repeat the work time and time again, at different times during 2014, the style of clothes and fashions will be very different in the summer..
